Being a video production company in Nashville means we tend to find ourselves working on music-related projects fairly often. Being huge music fans ourselves (and some of us musicians), we love this! So it makes sense that we recently had the chance to work with one of the biggest music brands in the entire world: Gibson guitars.
Gibson built their new Gibson Garage right in the heart of Music City and it is a dream come true for guitar players and music lovers. They have dozens upon dozens of guitars to test out and buy along with a service/repair center AND a stage! One of the coolest parts of this new facility is their carousel filled with guitars hanging from the ceiling. Naturally, Gibson wanted to show off their new space and collaborated with us on their latest video:
We collaborated with director/DP Nathan Morgan on this project, who wanted to focus on the many different areas of the Gibson Garage while also highlighting the sheer energy you feel when you walk in. We put a camera in the guitar carousel to show what it looks like from the guitar’s point of view as it moves through the facility. Robotic camera movements combined with time-lapse helped show off how interactive this place is. Of course, this wouldn’t be a proper Gibson commercial without showcasing their incredible guitars!
